Came in today for Boxing Day lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly staff, lovely food that was cooked to perfection, that they went out of their way with to accomodate my dairy allergy, absolutely couldn't fault it! Would give 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend, will definitely return

My family booked for boxing day this year,we were half greeted at the door by I presume the owner, shown to a really dated room that was used for storage,No decorations on the tables no atmosphere....only from the staff who were far from friendly,Salmon bagel for starter was 2 tiny bagels with a slither of salmon but was tasty,My mother in law had the nut roast which she enjoyed although no mention was made at all to my severe nut allergy although they were told upon booking,The main meals were served on huge plates with rock hard carrots and hard lumpy mash,The chocolate puddings were delicious, when told of the problem with the carrots the server just said sorry...no more..Very disappointing considering this was our Xmas dinner as we all work in care on Xmas day. Clearly

A table was booked for 7:30pm on a Saturday evening. We arrived promptly (4 of us and a dog) and were told that it was a 45 minute wait for food, we were fine about that and were then told to sit anywhere we wanted in the bar area. The whole pub was quiet and we couldn’t understand why the 45 minute wait was applicable. We all ordered the mix grill (2 x large and 2 x regular), a peppercorn sauce and a blue cheese sauce. After waiting for over an hour, one of the members of staff from behind the bar came to say that our meals were being plated up and would be served shortly. We must have waited another 15-20 minutes before the meals were brought out. All of the mix grills were cooked correctly and served hot. The rump steaks were the best meat on the plates! The homemade onion rings were tasty. Both of the large mix grills should have been served with a piece of liver but this was missing. We wouldn’t recommend the blue cheese sauce or the peppercorn sauce because they were too thin and not enough flavour. The mix grills were a 7/10. If I had to sum up this pub I would say that it is in need of serious updating on the inside and outside , it is stuck in the past. Very uncomfortable chairs, basic toilets and the decoration is from the 1970’s. Serves all the classic pub food.

Warm welcome, with a smile. The food we chose was prepared as we liked it and well presented. The only down side was that the waiter attending our table didn't return during the meal to ask if everything was okay. Our dirty plates were left on the table until after the waiter tried to serve our dessert. The place wasn't busy, so no excuse for lack of attention by staff.

Lovely service, friendly atmosphere, and good prices. The buns on the burgers were the only let down. They seemed a little too plain. Though for me, better than brioche, that I dislike. The men’s toilet was functional but tired, and need cleaning, repairing, and updating. The dining room would benefit from a makeover. Very good vegan and vegetarian selection for a local pub which I was pleased to see. We will go back.

We came here yesterday for food and drinks whilst on holiday. The food was absolutely lovely.. could tell it was all freshly cooked to order! Our dog had his own dinner too of meat potatoes and gravy which he loved! Would highly recommended to anyone wanting lovely home cooked pub food!

My parents go to this place when they visit on the weekends and I went for the first time today. Full 5🌟 from all of us, they've been numerous times and always been happy with the portions, the quality and the service. The young lady who was serving us remembered the drinks and meals even down to the dips they ordered separately which is impressive! The meals we ordered were incredible, a large mixed grill which could feed a small family but was smashed off slowly but surely. The surf and turf was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. I opted for a vegan stack burger with extra fried onions and cheese, all stayed together and tasted really good! Really good selection of ales and ciders, all served by one lady with a big smile; highly recommend! Well done to all, brilliant establishment! Also the doggy dinner for £2.50 is a great idea and means we can all enjoy a meal out together!

Found the place on Google maps and decided to give it a go- so glad we did! It has a lovely atmosphere inside and the girl serving was really canny. Amazing that it's so dog friendly and they even have a dog dinner you can buy! The food was lush and a great sized portions. 10/10 would recommend and a 5* from the dogs too!

We visited this place for a Sunday carvery and what a pleasant surprise. We hadn't booked but they managed to find us a table. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant area is clean, pleasent and comfortable. The food well prepared and presented. You tell the serving staff what you wanted and the portions are very generous, belly busters is what we call it. There are four meats to choose from also very generous portions. There's a standard price for the carvery and for our two and two soft drinks it came to £20 which is very competitive in today's prices. They serve food 7 days a week. There's ample easy parking, table benches out side and what makes this an ideal place for families is the large play park around the back of the pub.we enjoyed our meal so much so we booked for the next Sunday. This place is on the A52 at Huttoft. A well earned five star. Also for you dog lovers it's very dog friendly even do doggy meals. 1st June 23 we called in for a roast and were greeted with a warm welcome. The food, service, and especially the price were really excellent and worth the five gold star rating. Will use again.

Popped in whilst passing though from Mablethorpe and so glad we stopped. The food was amazing. There were 6 in our party and every plate was perfect, not one complaint. Staff were lovely and great outside area with picnic benches. If your looking for a quite spot with great food then check this place out.
